How to Use Voicemail and other Phone Service Features

Casair’s VOIP phone service includes many features such as Voicemail, Call Waiting, Caller ID, and Call Forwarding at no additional charge.

Voicemail

  1. To access your Voicemail from your phone, dial *98
  2. Enter your phone number and PIN.
  3. Follow the prompts to set up your greeting or access your messages.

Menu Options:

  • 2 Change Folders
  • 3 Advanced Options
  • 0 Mailbox Options
  • * Help
  • # Exit

Folders Menu:

  • 0 New Messages
  • 1 Old Messages
  • 2 Work Messages
  • 3 Family Messages
  • 4 Friends Messages
  • # Cancel

Advanced Options

  • 5 Leave Message
  • * Return to Main Menu

Mailbox Options

  • 1 Record Unavailable Message
  • 2 Record Busy Message
  • 3 Record Name
  • 4 Manage Temporary Greeting
  • 5 Change Password
  • * Return to Main Menu

You can also access your voicemail over the Internet:

  1. Go to http://my.daystarr.com
  2. Enter your phone number and PIN (password)
  3. Click on Messages & Calls

From the web page access, you can listen to messages or have voicemail messages sent to your email address.

Call Forwarding

On your phone, dial *72 and quickly enter the number to which you want your calls forwarded. After entering, you will hear 2 beeps to confirm.

To shut off the call forwarding, dial *73.

Three-Way Calling

  1. To use 3 way calling, first call and connect with the first phone number.
  2. Then either press Flash on your phone or the hook switch quickly, and you will get a dial tone again.
  3. Dial the next person you want to connect with.
  4. When they answer, press Flash (or the hook switch) again and everyone should be connected on the same call.
